Artists Profile Q&A: Alexis Vanessa Ramos was born in Woodland Hills California in 1998. She earned her BA in Visual Art from California State University, Northridge in 2020.
This spring, instead of trying to convert her existing plans for her advanced studio art courses to online, California State University, Northridge Art Professor Samantha Fields completely threw out her syllabus. Starting from scratch, she designed the Self-Isolation Pandemic Artist’s Residency Program (SIPARP) in a matter of days.

C.S.U.N. Voters Collective is a group of people who came together at C.S.U.N. to work alongside artist Deborah Aschheim who works with the Los Angeles County Registrar- Recorder’s Office. The task is to promote voting during the 2020 Election period and let people know about a new voting system.
